District heating networks and installations
The layout and route of the heating network are determined so that heat is transmitted and distributed efficiently and economically.
Design principles
The layout adopted can be branched or ring-shaped, depending on the size, location and importance of the consumers and on the terrain geometry. We aim for network balancing, a small number of sections and as few crossings with other networks as possible; routing through green areas allows natural compensation of thermal expansion.
